Which survey do you need?

A management survey covers a building in normal use. Before renovation, extension or demolition you need the more intrusive refurbishment and demolition survey of the areas being worked on, it’s a legal requirement under CAR 2012 for contractors to have this information.

What it costs

Management surveys start around £195 for domestic properties; refurbishment surveys cost more depending on scope. Individual samples are around £125.
